SDGCAC

SDGCAC (SDG Coordination and Acceleration Centre) is a joint initiative of UNDP India and state governments. We designed and built their official platform on Framer CMS, with an AI chatbot, individual pages for all 17 SDGs, a full resources library, and a content system the team runs on their own.

India's SDG Platform,
Built for Government

The SDG Coordination and Acceleration Centre (SDGCAC) is India's institutional home for bringing the United Nations' 2030 Agenda to life at the state level. Set up in partnership with UNDP India and NITI Aayog, SDGCAC works inside the Planning Departments of Indian states. It is the secretariat for SDG action, coordinating across government departments, civil society, and private sector partners.

Haryana is where this all started. India's first SDG Coordination Centre was established here on 6 August 2018, and the state has since become a national model. Today, 90% of Haryana's state budget is aligned with SDG-linked schemes. The team has published 20 District SDG Profile Booklets and hosted cross state learning visits from Tamil Nadu and Jammu & Kashmir. SDGCAC is the next step in that journey, with a bigger focus on acceleration, data driven governance, and SDG financing.

The platform had to work for a wide range of users: government officials at the state and district level, NITI Aayog and UNDP partners, civil society organisations, and researchers. It needed to make complex policy frameworks easy to read, give people access to a large library of reports, and present Haryana's SDG progress clearly. And it all had to be something the SDGCAC team could manage themselves, without calling a developer every time something changed.

The Challenge & Solution

Most government websites built around policy frameworks have the same problem: they are made to exist, not to be used. Navigation is heavy, data is buried, and content goes out of date because updating it requires too much effort. For SDGCAC, serving senior government officials, UNDP partners, district officers, and civil society, that kind of site would have worked against the whole mission. It needed to be serious and genuinely easy to use at the same time.

We built it on Framer CMS because it gives us the design quality the project needed while keeping things practical for the content team. No code required to update pages, add reports, or publish events. We built dedicated pages for all 17 SDGs, each showing Haryana's progress, key indicators, and linked government schemes. A resources library brings all of SDGCAC's publications together in one place. The AI chatbot is trained on SDGCAC's own knowledge base and can answer questions about the organisation, the SDG framework, Haryana's progress, and the 2030 Agenda in plain language.

AI Chatbot - SDG Knowledge Assistant

A custom AI chatbot trained on SDGCAC's full knowledge base, including all website content, UNDP India policy documents, NITI Aayog frameworks, and published reports. It answers questions about the 17 SDGs, Haryana's progress, and SDGCAC's work in plain conversational language. Government users, researchers, and civil society partners get answers without digging through documents.

17 Individual
SDG Goal Pages

A dedicated page for each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, showing Haryana's progress on key indicators, linked government schemes, and relevant resources. Each page is managed in Framer CMS so the SDGCAC team can keep data current as new reports and index figures come in, without needing a developer.

Framer CMS Content Management

The full platform runs on Framer CMS, giving the SDGCAC team complete control over all pages, the resources library, events, and SDG goal data. Adding a new report, updating progress figures, or publishing an event takes minutes. The team does not need technical support to keep the site current.

Resources & Document Library

A clean, organised repository of everything SDGCAC publishes: Haryana SDG Vision 2030 documents, Viksit Haryana 2047, the Haryana SDG District Index, Output-Outcome Framework reports, best practice case study booklets, and multimedia resources. Content is sorted by category so people can find what they need quickly.

Viksit Haryana
2047 Showcase

A dedicated page for the long-term vision document co-created by the Government of Haryana and UNDP, laying out how Haryana becomes a fully developed state by 2047, in line with the national Viksit Bharat @2047 vision. It explains SDGCAC's role in building and driving this document.

Events & Stakeholder Engagement

A live events section showing upcoming and past SDGCAC events, including workshops, stakeholder consultations, and cross state learning visits. Managed in Framer CMS so the team can keep it updated without any back and forth.
